3 Ways to Eat Shrimp

Ceviche is a seafood dish popular in Peru. It’s made from fresh raw fish and/or seafood that’s marinated in citrus, chilis and other fresh flavors. It’s easy to put together, just be sure to start with very fresh shrimp. Combine with Fairway’s fresh mango salsa, lemon juice and cilantro for garnish, and you’ve got a delicious appetizer. Here’s an easy way to cook shrimp with tons of flavor; we love to serve these with steak!
- Whisk 1 tbsp olive oil, butter, onion, wine and 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, parsley, seafood seasoning, 1 garlic clove, and a pinch of black pepper together in a bowl; add 1 tsp of Fairway Hot Chili Sauce for added kick, if desired. Add shrimp and toss to coat evenly.
- Cover bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for flavors to blend, at least 15 minutes. Pour shrimp and marinade into skillet and cook until they are bright pink on the outside and the meat is no longer transparent in the center, 2 to 3 minutes per side.
