The clock is tick tick ticking…Christmas is nearly here! We believe your holiday table should be abundant with the best of the best. This is THE time of year to bring out the very finest, and to generously share deliciousness with those you love.

It would take way more time and space than we have here to chronicle all the fabulous, special, tasty finds stacked high in the aisles of Fairway. So I’ve arbitrarily selected a few holiday-ish things I love. There are many, many more and I hope they make your way to your holiday feast!

Fairway has imported lots of jars of grilled preserved vegetables from an artisan in Milano, Italy.  They are beyond superb.  They are a celebration.  Serve them with all manner of antipasto, with toasts and cheeses and cured meats.  These big fat jars are hand-crammed with extraordinary examples of Italian onions, sweet peppers, Prataioli mushrooms, tomatoes and Roman-style artichokes.
